Susan Foxworth practices in the area of commercial real estate and finance. Her practice includes a wide range of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisition, development, leasing, disposition and financing of office buildings, shopping centers, industrial properties, apartment projects, hotels and mixed use developments. She has extensive experience in complex real estate transactions and related matters involving the acquisition, disposition and financing of multi-state portfolios of financial and real estate assets. She also has experience in the workout, restructure and foreclosure of real estate.

Susan also frequently represents: (i) purchasers and/or sellers in the drafting and negotiating of purchase contracts and conveyance documents and with respect to acquisitions, performing due diligence audits of the “to be acquired” assets, and (ii) principals/landlords in connection with the drafting and negotiating of complex lease agreements with major corporation tenants.

Susan received her J.D., with honors, in 1987 from the University of Texas, where she also received her B.B.A. in Business Administration, with highest honors, in 1984. She is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, the Atlanta Bar Association and the American Bar Association.

Prior to joining Tatum Hillman & Powell, LLP, Susan was counsel on the Capital Transaction and Real Estate team at King & Spalding LLP for 26 years.

Susan is married and has three children.
